Raven Ministries was birthed out of the realization that the vision for true Biblical evangelism had largely been abandoned in the modern church culture.

The vision and purpose of this ministry is summed up in the acronym that comprises its name: To restore the vision of evangelism and the great commission to the local church through training, mentoring and mobilizing and to evangelize the immediate world that we have been provided access to, whether that "world" consists of our neighborhood, city, place of employment or foreign soil.

This realization led to the founding of R.A.V.E.N. which is an acronym for Restoring A Vision & Evangelizing Nations.

Acts 1:8 says, “...ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you; and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost parts of the earth.”

That being said, there is something wrong with the picture being painted by the modern church. From this passage of scripture alone– it can be ascertained that if we are not  actively working to reach the lost and dying of this world– then we need to reevaluate if the Holy Spirit is working in our lives.

When I begun to look beyond the parameters of my own city– I became terminally obsessed with reaching this world for Christ Jesus (and my calling is not even that of an evangelist!). It just ceased to be “okay” with me for people to die and go to hell without first having had the opportunity to hear and receive the Gospel.

I truly believe that one person can make a difference that will cause heaven to stand up and shout! One person led me to Jesus and I have since had the opportunity to lead thousands of other people to Jesus as a result of that one person’s obedience!

I have come to the realization that there are countless people everywhere just waiting for us to share the message of the Cross with them.

Our teams have seen as many as 100 people pray to receive the Lord Jesus Christ in just THREE HOURS on Canal Street in New Orleans!

Rom 8:19 says, “The creation waits in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed.” Now who exactly are these “sons of God” who the world is so eager to meet?

John 1:12 tells us, “But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.”

This is me and anyone who would receive Him as their Lord & Savior!

We have since taken teams from Coast to Coast and have seen many come to Christ from the neon-lit streets of Hollywood, California to the projects of New York City.

They are waiting with “earnest expectation” for you and I to show up with the Good News of Salvation and reveal to them what they have long been waiting for!

REVIVAL will be birthed out of willing vessels who would dare to repent and take up the call to once again return to the vision and commission to “Go unto all the world and preach the Gospel.”
