NEW YORK, NEW YORK (RP) Veteran Evangelist Bobby Chance of Streetwise Ministry in Hollywood, California and Pastor Troy D. Bohn of RAVEN Outreach Ministrie are assembling a team to conduct outreach evangelism throughout the city May 22-26.

The outreach, termed "Boot Camp in the Big Apple" by its organizers, will be composed of men and women from across the nation who will spend five days doing street witnessing, open-air preaching, music and other types of evangelism in some of New York Cities most famed locations.

Hosting this year's team will be Abounding Grace Ministries located at 9 East 7th Street on the lower east side of Manhattan. Abounding Grace, or AGM, is pastored by Rev. Rick & Arlene Del Rio and is a mainstay in the local community.

When making your travel plans, consider arriving in NYC in the early afternoon on the 22nd and departing the afternoon of the 26th.

Where: New York City

We will be staying at Abounding Grace Church which is located at 9 East 7th St. NY, NY 10003 (lower east side of Manhattan)

FYI: We will be sleeping "outreach style" (ie. sleeping bags, air mattress, etc) There is a KMART within one block of the church that these items can be purchased at (by you) if you do not want to pack them from home. There are showers, etc at the church for our use (bring your own towels).

Cost: $125 registration

This will cover the cost of staying at Abounding Grace, (3) Raven Outreach T-Shirts, tracts, and Bibles.

FYI: You will be responsible for the cost of travel to NYC, your local transportation costs, and we will be eating meals out on the streets. There are many economical eating places (ie. McDonald's, pizza, Subway, etc) Over the years, we have used Tel-Aviv Car Service to travel to and from the airport. Their number is

 212-777-7777 You can call in advance to set up your pickup (they will quote a price) and you can plan your arrival with other participants and share the cost. ALSO- each person will need to purchase a Metro-Card ($25) in order to have unlimited access to the subway system while in NYC.

Remember: Space is VERY LIMITED and we have had many express a desire to participate in the outreach already. Get your deposit in as soon as possible to assure your place in this ministry opportunity.
